Charting Jump October 2018

With October behind us, let us take an overview look on how the latest batch volume from Weekly Shonen Jump performed in Japan.

We start with a summary of Oricon sales for the past month.

This month's batch had a 4 day of sales for the first week, and the range of the table is from October 1st - October 28th with the volumes all released on October 4th.

Something of note is that the total for Yuuna is for 5 weeks (until November 4th) and that Zumou numbers are only for the first 2 weeks of sales.(until October 11th).

I'll try go into more detail for some of the volume on a later update but for now we will look at the Daily & Weekly POS ranking for the these volumes in the month of October, starting with the daily.

Tanaka Seiji #1, unlike its full name only hard a short lived 1 day in the daily rankings and is to never been seen ever again, Noah Notes #3 is the final volume of the series and it actually started stronger than the 2nd volumes, but it also dropped faster (October 10th didn't ranked as in lower than 500) and interestingly have almost the exact same shape with volume 2.

Everyone else are performing at standard Jump fare, but it is kinda sad to see that the 2 most recent anime (Yuuna & Zumou)doesn't help their respective manga to gain any traction.
